Moist chocolate cake enhanced with coffee that really doesn't give much of a coffee flavor, but seems to make the cocoa even more chocolatey. Top it all off with a fabulously easy chocolate icing that is poured onto the hot cake right out of the oven. Can you imagine it? No wonder this was in my Mom's regular rotation of things to bring to a potluck, church social or family gathering.

This lovely pasta with its silky, creamy sauce is phenomenally easy. Very similar to a carbonara. The hot pasta cooks a mixture of egg and cheese in a matter of seconds. The zing of lemon juice brightens it up and adding your favorite flavors makes this pasta deliciously unique to you.
Salmon is one of my favorite proteins and particularly because it serves a special purpose in weeknight cooking. It cooks very quickly thus checking off the box when speed is necessary, not to mention it is succulent and delicious.
Coating the salmon in a lovely gochujang honey marinade, searing to perfection, then placing atop a beautifully tender massaged kale salad with sweet bits of mango and crunchy cucumber that has been married with a creamy lime tahini dressing makes this whole dish things that my dreams are made of.
Chewy, ooey, gooey maple oat bars covered in chocolate that are a cinch to make? Yes please! These bars come together so quickly. It's basically mix, bake, chill and enjoy. It's literally that simple.
The fact that these bars are gluten-free and have no processed sugar just adds to their ooey, gooey allure. I use quick cooking oats, which makes them gluten-free.
I love a good Matcha latte. It doesn't matter to me if they're hot or iced and I even love them all blended up like a Frappuccino minus all the sweet stuff that is typically added to a Frapp.
This beautiful version that is enhanced with fresh mint is my new favorite and I am enjoying it on the regular. It's very easy to make, taking only a few minutes and the mint flavor steps into the milk very quickly as you heat it up.
This is perhaps the easiest stirfry I have ever made in my entire lifetime. Using pepper jelly is the short cut extraordinaire that leads to a delicious stirfry in no time at all. Perfect for week night cooking.
You end up with a beautifully sweet, spicy, sticky sauce for your stirfry that is quite delectable. |
