I really like ice cream. I get it from my Dad, who used to eat a bowl of ice cream every night. He was a fan of butter pecan, which my youthful taste buds never appreciated growing up (ok, I’d suffer through a bowl if that’s all we had…lol). Such suffering.
Frico refers to a crispy cheese that is the wonderful result of toasting shredded hard cheese like Parmesan, Romano, Asiago, or even Manchego in a skillet or oven. Once it cools slightly, you can lift it off with a spatula and even shape it however you please, like a cone or bowl shape.
