Beautiful slightly charred skewers of tender chicken breast, drizzled with a creamy peanut butter sauce that has a slight hum of heat and robust flavor. Sprinkledthe whole lot with crushed peanuts and emerald cilantro and you have chicken satay.

When I first heard of these sushi cups that are baked, they were totally trending on social media and being that I love anything made with salmon I had to jump on the bandwagon and give these a try myself.
Scones have been one of my favorites ever since Tim and I went to Ireland where scones abound everywhere and I ate at least one per day. Delicious! While the Irish scones were very basic, the butter or cream they used gave them a fabulous texture, and to have a scone with my morning cup of tea was a pure pleasure on the Emerald Isle.
I'm always looking to create a unique dessert for Valentine's Day. Sometimes something romantic, sometimes something more whimsical as in these loaded with white chocolate cookies that have a hint of peppermint from crushed candies and lovely muted pink hue from beet powder (you can leave that out or use food coloring if you wanted to). I drizzle them with additional melted white chocolate and a sprinkling of the crushed peppermint candies to make a moist, dense, sweet treat for my loved ones.
