My 2 ingredient ultimate date night dessert. Refreshing sorbet topped off with sparkling Italian Prosecco and a sprig of mint. A true love note to wrap up your date night dinner💕 You can't beat the beautiful simplicity of this Italian dessert. Simply topping your favorite sorbet with Prosecco, which is Italy's equivalent of champagne, lends to a perfect, light sweet treat after a gorgeous dinner. My favorite sorbet flavor is raspberry and Talenti is one of my favorite brands. So good. I love to find a beautiful glass to serve these in. Any glass would, of course, do. Somehow picking a perfect glass lends to the elevated simplicity. Something akin to a coupe would be ideal. A small 187 ML bottle of Prosecco is enough for 2 floats, so if you're only wanting this treat for you and your date, a small bottle will do you. Buy the larger bottle if you want to use the Prosecco for other uses, or simply as a sipper. Prosecco Sorbet Float
Serves 2 1 187 ml (small) bottle chilled Prosecco 1/2 pint sorbet (I love raspberry by Talenti) a sprig of mint for garnish (optional) Scoop out 2 scoops of sorbet into each of 2 glasses. Pour the Prosecco over the sorbet and top with a mint leaf. Dig in.
