Heavenly Hots High Protein Pancakes

If you’ve never had Heavenly Hots Pancakes, you’re in for a treat! These light, airy pancakes practically melt in your mouth, and the secret ingredient? Greek yogurt (which I sub in for the traditional sour cream for a more high protein version). Unlike traditional pancakes, which can sometimes feel heavy, these beauties are delicate, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious.

What Makes Heavenly Hots Special?

Heavenly Hots differ from your standard pancake because they have minimal flour and are packed with creamy Greek yogurt, making them extra tender and high in protein. They have a delicate crispness on the edges while staying incredibly soft in the middle.

How to Make Heavenly Hots
  1. Mix the batter – In a bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gently mix the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined. The batter will be thick—don’t worry!
  2. Heat the pan – Warm a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.
  3. Cook the pancakes – Drop small spoonfuls of batter onto the pan. These pancakes are delicate, so keep them small—about 3 inches in diameter. Cook for 1–2 minutes until bubbles form, then gently flip and cook another minute until golden.
  4. Serve and enjoy – Stack them high and top with your favorites! A dusting of powdered sugar, a drizzle of maple syrup, fresh berries, or even a dollop of whipped cream makes them extra special.

YOU'LL NEED:

Iron skillet
or
Electric Griddle

Heavenly Hots Greek Yogurt Pancakes

2Eggs
1 cup full fat greek yogurt, plain
1/2  teaspoon Baking soda
2 1/2 tablespoons all purpose flour (or gluten free flour)
Small pinch sea salt
Butter or oil for frying






To the container of ablender, add the eggs, salt, baking
soda, flour and greek yogurt.  

Process until smooth and set aside. 

Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat, then add enough butter or oil to lightly coat it.

Ladle batter onto the griddle to make the size pancakes you prefer.  Slightly smaller is better since these cook slowly due to all the high protein yogurt.

Cook until a few bubbles appear on the top then flip and cook on the other side until golden brown. 

Serve as desired with butter, syrup, berries or even a dollop of whipped cream.
