We recently spent some time in Montana. We rented a gorgeous condo in Big Sky and were joined by my siblings from Indiana and my bonus son Jacob, his wife Megan and our adorable granddaughter Eden who live in Missouri.

Eden is 4 and had a great time playing in the snow. Baking cookies together just made sense for our time spent there. We rallied ingredients that we could gather in the condo for a version of this recipe, but this is a fabulous, chocolatey cookie that we named after our Montana stay and a nearby hiking trail.
![]() This is a small batch recipe, but it can be easily doubled or tripled if you need more cookies. ......and you may very well need more cookies.

Eden’s Montana Moosetracks Cookies

You can also use regular peanut butter cups. Preheat oven to 350. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy then add egg and vanilla and beat again. Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well, then stir in chopped almond butter chocolate. Place on parchment lined baking sheet by even mounds (I like to use a small scoop). Bake approx 10. Minutes until golden.
