![]() Welcome to some afternoon focus & energy minus the effects of caffeine! Hate that afternoon slump? Instead of going for the caffeine, try this Chaga Latte. Chaga is a mushroom that grows on a tree. It is known to help with focus and energy and is readily available online. You can purchase here through Thrive Market. I add some Chaga mushroom powder to some coconut milk (use your favorite milk) with my personal preference of a dash of orange blossom water (you do you), shake in a sealed jar then pour over ice with a dash of cinnamon. Orange Blossom Water has been widely used in the Middle East and is made from distilling the blossoms of a bitter orange tree. It's a beautiful, slightly florally touch to this latte. You can find Orange Blossom water here if you decide to give it a try, but it is not essential to this latte. Easy ingredients for this unique non-coffee latte, and I love that it is so adaptable to your preference. I find the coconut milk sweet enough on its own the I don't typically need any honey, but it is a nice optional if you so desire. The coconut milk also makes sure this beverage is nice and frothy. Just what I want in my afternoon pick-me-up. Chaga Latte Serves 1 8 ounces milk of choice (I love coconut milk for this) 1 teaspoon chaga mushroom powder 1 teaspoon orange blossom water (optional) 1 teaspoon honey or sweetener of choice (optional) ice dash of cinnamon to sprinkle over the top (optional) In a jar with a tight fitting lid, place ice then remaining ingredients except for cinnamon. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until the chaga is dissolved. Pour into a serving glass and adorn with a sprinkling of cinnamon. Enjoy a glass of focus & energy!
