If you’ve ever tasted real homemade kimchi, you know there’s nothing quite like it. This iconic Korean fermented dish is tangy, spicy, garlicky, and packed with umami flavor. The good news? It’s surprisingly easy to make at home with just a handful of ingredients.

These no-bake peanut butter protein bars are chewy, lightly sweet, and loaded with plant-based protein—no oven, no food processor, no fuss. They’re ideal for busy mornings, post-workout fuel, or a not-too-sweet afternoon snack and meal prep friendly.
If you’ve ever chased that cloud-like pancake texture you get at a great brunch spot, this little trick is about to change your mornings....fizzy water. The bubbles act like instant lift, giving you impossibly fluffy pancakes without separating eggs or whipping anything to stiff peaks. Pair them with a warm peach & pecan maple syrup and suddenly a simple breakfast feels slow, Southern, and a little bit special.
If there’s one dessert that never fails to disappear from the pan before it’s even cooled, it’s Magic Cookie Bars. Also known as “Seven-Layer Bars,” these gooey, crunchy, irresistibly rich bars have been showing up at potlucks and holiday cookie trays for decades—and for good reason. They’re easy, portable, and made entirely from pantry staples. No mixer, no fuss, just pure magic.
I know this may seem like an odd thing for me to post, but making your own toothpaste is quite easy and this one contains all natural ingredients (which can't be said about most commercial toothpaste brands).
In fact, the ingredients in this paste are beneficial to teeth and oral health in general.
Beware...we're rich! Perhaps that's why they're called Payday Bars.
There’s nothing quite like a homemade version of your favorite candy bar, especially when it’s made with love! My mom’s Payday Bars are a staple of her farmer's market offering and quite popular. A delicious blend of salty peanuts and sweet, chewy caramel like topping that made every bite irresistible. Today, I’m sharing her simple yet scrumptious recipe so you can bring a taste of nostalgia into your own kitchen.
These are one of the easiest no-bake cookies and remind me so much of the holiday as my mom would make them for my dad. He would plop a couple of these balls of bourbon goodness into his coat pocket when he would go outside on a wintry day to work on the farm. He said they helped keep him warm.
I love munching on nuts as a healthy snack. Briefly roasting them with a touch of sweet, amber maple syrup and coarse sea salt just accentuates the goodness. Each handful seems better than the last. So easy, and so good, and with all the healthy fats in these nuts, you can feel good about eating them.
I absolutely love these cupcakes. The heady flavors remind me so much of my grandmother's baking around the holidays. They are moist cupcakes with all of the gingerbread spices you would expect. Deeply alluring treacly molasses, woodsy cinnamon, zingy ginger, and espresso.
What? Did I just say espresso? Yes I did! I use a bit of espresso powder to deeper the flavors even further, but you could also use coffee as there is water in this batter.
I can confidently say you can have freshly baked from scratch cookies in 15 minutes. And not just any cookie. Gooey, chocolately, decadently delicious cookies that the whole family will love unless there is a chocolate hater among you, and then we'd have to discuss disavowing them. Just kidding. We jest in love as I do know one singular person who actually does not like chocolate. One singular person. I'll make some other type of cookie for that person.
I haven't purchased salad dressing in years...literally years. It's so much cheaper, healthier (no suspicious ingredients) and fresher/tastier to make your own.
These are 3 basic vinaigrettes to get you started. Double the batch then keep in the fridge for a couple weeks. Not just drizzle worthy for salads but also great over chicken, roast pork & veggies. Your fancily & friends will be so impressed that you made these all on your own (like a pro) and all that's required is shaking the jar to mix everything up. |
